Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking an Intercompany Accounting Junior Specialist to join the new GBS Centre in Poland. You will support intercompany accounting processes, ensure compliance, and contribute to process optimization and development of innovative workflows.

The role is fixed-term for 12 months, full-time with hybrid working time, and requires a bachelor’s degree, English proficiency, SAP and MS Office familiarity, and a collaborative mindset to work with local teams and auditors.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Executing, maintaining, and ensuring compliance with Intercompany-related standards, processes, and procedures as part of the GBS service portfolio, while coordinating Intercompany-related topics with the Global Process Owner, local teams, and other GBS Centers.
• Ensuring excellence in daily operations for assigned Intercompany service streams by providing end-to-end solutions.
• Ensuring the timely and accurate execution of daily Intercompany tasks in compliance with BI rules.
• Administering processes in accordance with published guidelines, standard work instructions, internal control standards, and local Finance and/or corporate policies.
• Liaising with auditors to prepare and complete audit requirements related to Intercompany topics.
• Preparing and regularly updating process documentation.
• Defining process rules, monitoring Intercompany standards, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
• Partnering with local OPUs and other GBS streams to resolve issues and achieve high-quality results.
