Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Junior General Accounting Specialist for its GBS Centre in Poland. You will handle GL closing activities, prepare group reporting packages, and support local statutory statements while ensuring compliance and accuracy.

The role requires English at B2 level and 0–2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a shared services environment. SAP knowledge is a plus and a Bachelor’s degree is required.

Qualifications

• Speak English at a minimum B2 level and 0–2 years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or accounting courses is required.
• Experience in a shared service setup is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform and monitor GL closing activities for international GBS entities.
• Compile group reporting packages for headquarters and local statutory statements.
• Prepare figures for financial statements (FS I) and post journals during close.
• Provide 2nd level GL support and liaise with local accounting staff.
• Ensure reconciliations and archival of GL documents.
