Job summary

Cisco Systems Poland sp. Z o.o. Kraków area is seeking a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our App Runtime team. You will help build a range of developer tools for Splunk stacks and improve the development experience with automated testing and CI/CD.

You will collaborate with product management, UX, and documentation teams, and work across engineers to create robust, scalable features in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with SaaS application development and Go in production.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes and container technologies.
• Nice to have: Python and C++ knowledge; AWS or Azure experience.
• Understanding of Linux OS internals and networking basics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, implementation and delivery of long-term software features.
• Maintain and debug existing technology stack and fix issues.
• Collaborate with product management and architects to build reusable components.
• Develop and enhance robust test suites and CI/CD processes.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality software delivery.
