Job summary

OANDA Global Corporation, a leading fintech trading group, seeks a hands‑on Legal Counsel to shape day‑to‑day legal matters and negotiate global commercial agreements from Kraków. You will support employment, IP, privacy and regulatory projects while collaborating with global teams.

The role requires a Polish Attorney-at-Law or active Trainee, with 2+ years at a law firm or in-house. FinTech or FX experience is a plus. Join a global environment with strong governance and risk focus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with a law firm or as in-house counsel.
• Strong foundation in corporate governance.
• Qualified Polish Attorney-at-Law or active Trainee Attorney.
• Ability to manage complexity—making sense of high-quantity or contradictory information to solve problems.
• Planning and organizational skills with strong prioritization and timely delivery of high-quality results.
• Strategic thinking with a detail-oriented approach to execution, compliance and proactive risk management.
• Nice to have: experience in FinTech, FX/trading, derivatives, payment services or cryptocurrency from a commercial and legal perspective; regulatory experience within global financial services industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day legal matters arising from US and Canadian operations, including corporate governance.
• Advise on and negotiate a wide range of commercial arrangements for the North American business.
• Anticipate, identify and elevate legal issues of concern.
• Provide support for employment, intellectual property, privacy, cybersecurity, compliance and other legal matters globally.
• Support the delivery of strategic projects within the Legal Department.
• Contribute to team development, scaling, efficiency and improvement.
