Job summary

Euroclear is seeking an Ops Engineer to support development teams and own end-to-end infrastructure deliverables across Windows, Linux, networks, and databases. You will work on on-premise and cloud deployments, ensuring security and performance while aligning with ITIL and Scrum principles.

The role requires 3–4 years in IT infrastructure, strong Azure/VMware skills, and the ability to adapt to evolving technologies in a collaborative, global environment with a hybrid working model.

Qualifications

• BA or MA degree in a relevant field.
• 3 to 4 years of IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong knowledge of Azure, Linux/Windows OS and VMware ESX.
• Experience with networks, SQL/Oracle, AD/ADFS and identity management.
• ITIL and Scrum knowledge with secure infra principles.
• Understanding of CI concepts and secure coding practices.
• Excellent communication, team spirit and learning agility.

Job Description

• Endorse the role of Ops Engineer supporting Development teams
• Ensure business applications are optimally coordinated on Euroclear infrastructure (on premise and on cloud) by designing and implementing solutions that meet application requirements, security and infrastructure requirements and standards
• You will take full ownership of your deliveries that cover a very broad set of technologies like Windows, Linux, Network (DNS, Load Balancers, Firewall,…), MQ, Domain Controller, Azure services, SQL, Oracle,….

Requirements:

• BA or MA degree
• 3 to 4 years of experience in IT infrastructure
• A very good expertise and knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Red Hat Linux and/or Windows Operating Systems as well of VMware ESX solutions
• Experience in multiple technologies like Network configuration (DNS, routing & netting, firewall, load balancing), SQL, Oracle, Active Directory, ADFS, Identity management, Terraform
• ITIL and Scrum knowledge and you know the key principles to make an application infrastructure secure.
• A good understanding of Continuous Integration principles
• Good communication skills, a positive attitude and a competitive, but team-oriented focus are key elements to be successful in this challenging environment
• Able to demonstrate your ability to learn ICT technologies
• Able to easily adapt to new circumstances / technologies / procedures
• Stress resistant and constructive whatever the context
• Ready to deal with impediments in autonomy
• Able to follow existing standards and acting with attention to detail
• A true great teammate who demonstrates good interpersonal skills
