Junior Design R&D Engineer (M/F)
Job Description:
- Creating, managing, and updating 2D/3D technical documentation, including revising and releasing drawings through the PLM system.
- Designing and implementing component modifications, developing jigs and fixtures, and coordinating fabrication with internal and external suppliers.
- Developing, documenting, and maintaining work standards and procedures for R&D activities.
- Managing prototype builds, including requirements analysis, materials preparation and stock management, coordinating cross-departmental activities, actively participating in prototype fabrication, arranging delivery and supervising each stage of the process.
- Coordinating execution of product and components-level tests by analyzing specifications, planning test samples fabrication, cooperating with relevant testing engineer and accurately documenting and releasing test results.
- Working effectively with cross-functional teams, both internally and externally, to achieve project objectives. (Daily work with teams in Poland, Germany, and Korea)
- Preparation and management of development plans, test schedules, and comprehensive reporting of results.
- Leading technical reviews with internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting the prototype purchasing process by issuing purchase requisitions, gathering required documentation, and assisting in invoice settlement through document submission.
Requirements
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Engineering degree (preferable mechanical engineering or related field)
- Ability to use CAD software (preferable CATIA, Solidworks)
- MS Office proficiency (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Capability to define and understand technical specifications for mechanical components.
- Ability to read and analyze mechanical and technical documentation effectively.
- Familiarity with workshop practices, tools handling, and materials properties gained through hands-on experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Responsible attitude towards achieving objectives and fulfilling assigned tasks on time.
- Very good organizational skills and attention to details
- Basic understanding of shock absorber function and operating principles
