Job summary

Talanto is seeking a Junior Data Engineer to help build and maintain Looker Conversational Analytics and in-house AI analytics tools. You will work with Python, SQL, and Google Cloud Platform, collaborating with engineers and data owners to ensure reliable, secure data solutions.

The role offers hybrid working hours (4/1) with flexible start times and occasional remote work. You will gain experience across data engineering and AI engineering while growing in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Good foundations in Python and SQL from studies or projects.
• Basic understanding of data pipelines, APIs, and data modeling.
• Interest in LLMs and agentic AI systems.
• Structured debugging across multiple services and data sources.
• Willingness to take increasing ownership as you learn the product.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python services, APIs, and data integrations.
• Build pipelines to collect and process agent interactions and evaluation results.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL data models for Conversational Analytics.
• Define, validate, test, and deploy conversational agents with versioned workflows.
• Integrate agents with Looker and other services via APIs.
• Create automated regression tests and evaluations for factual correctness.
