Job summary

Hager Polska is seeking a Junior Controlling & Reporting Specialist to join a newly established Poland-based Controlling team. You will work under the Controlling SME Leader in Bieruń, supporting inventory, material consumption, and product costing analyses.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in Finance or related field, have basic experience in controlling or data analysis, and are proficient in Excel with a keen eye for detail. English at B2+ is required.

Qualifications

• Hold a university degree in Finance, Controlling, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Have initial experience in controlling, finance, accounting, data analysis, or similar areas.
• Enjoy working with numbers, data, and business processes.
• Good Excel skills and ability to learn new systems and tools.
• Interest in SAP, BI tools, and data analytics.
• Demonstrate a proactive mindset and seek process improvements.
• Take ownership and collaborate with others.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively in English (minimum B2).
• Enjoy working in an international and multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with SAP, BW/4HANA and reporting tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud and Power BI.
• Prepare regular reports, analyses, and data summaries.
• Support month-end closing activities and variance analysis.
• Monitor data quality and identify inconsistencies in transactional data.
• Support product costing and inventory-related controlling processes.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with colleagues across countries and business units.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Gradually build team expertise in inventory controlling, material consumption analysis, and product costing.
