The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, 2–3 years of accounting experience (at least 1 year in general ledger), fluency in English, and comfort working in a hybrid model with at least two days in the office.
We are proud to be consistently recognized as one of the world’s best places to work. We are currently the top ranked consulting firm on Glassdoor's Best Places to Work list and have earned the #1 overall spot a record seven times. Extraordinary teams are at the heart of our business strategy, but these don’t happen by chance. They require intentional focus on bringing together a broad set of backgrounds, cultures, experiences, perspectives, and skills in a supportive and inclusive work environment. We hire people with exceptional talent and create an environment in which every individual can thrive professionally and personally.
You’ll join our EMEA Finance team at our Global Business Services (GBS) hub in Warsaw, a center of expertise and collaboration. As part of a dedicated four-person GBS team, you’ll work closely with senior colleagues, including Finance Managers and Directors in our London office and potentially other Bain offices across the EMEA region.
Working across a diverse range of markets, you’ll support core accounting processes and help ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting.
As a Junior General Accountant (internally called Coordinator, General Accounting), you’ll report directly to the EMEA Finance Manager and work closely with senior colleagues who will support you in your day-to-day responsibilities.
You’ll have independent ownership of your assigned markets while benefiting from the support of the wider team. You’ll play an important role in General Ledger activities across London and other EMEA markets, helping ensure accurate, complete, and timely financial reporting while collaborating with stakeholders across the region.
This role follows a hybrid working model, requiring at least 2 days per week in the office.
