Job summary

LanceSoft Europe is seeking a Software Engineer (Java) in Warsaw, Poland, for a 12-month contract with extensions. You will build and scale cloud-native, event-driven microservices, leveraging DevOps practices and AI-assisted workflows.

The role requires on-site presence 3–4 days per week. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in backend Java/Spring Boot, with Kafka, Docker/Kubernetes, and GitLab CI/CD experience, plus familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK and AI tools like GitHub Copilot and

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend development with Java and Spring Boot.
• Production experience with Kafka, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Familiarity with AI developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude).
• BS in Computer Science (or equivalent) and strong problem-solving skills.
