Toyota Connected Europe Limited in Wrocław is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design, develop, implement and document large-scale, distributed software applications. You will build platforms enabling vehicle-cloud communication and support the full development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on programming experience in Java (17+) and high-quality code.
• Experience with JUnit5, Mockito and Testcontainers for testing.
• Familiar with APIs, web services, CI/CD and automated testing practices.
• Experience with microservices-based systems, ideally using Spring Boot.
• Comfort working with relational databases; some NoSQL exposure.
• Experience with at least one cloud provider, ideally AWS.
• Understanding of good software design and scalable solutions.
• Experience building distributed systems and cloud-based apps.
• Familiar with Docker and Kubernetes in modern development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain Java components and services.
• Contribute to scalable, reliable systems following standards.
• Collaborate with engineers to build and support software across the lifecycle.
• Participate in technical design discussions for components in larger systems.
• Write clean, well-tested code and partake in peer reviews.
• Support build, integration and deployment activities to improve processes.
• Work with APIs, data structures across distributed and cloud environments.
• Help monitor, maintain and troubleshoot production services.
• Collaborate with peers and senior engineers in an agile environment.
• Support adoption of modern engineering practices and tooling.
• Grow technical skills and contribute to strong Wrocław engineering culture.
