Job summary

Toyota Connected Europe is expanding its engineering team in Wrocław. We are seeking a Java Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain large-scale distributed applications that power connected vehicle services.

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on Java (17+) programming experience.
• Experience with JUnit5, Mockito and Testcontainers.
• Familiar with APIs, web services, CI/CD and automated testing.
• Experience with microservices, ideally Spring Boot.
• Comfortable with relational DBs; some NoSQL exposure.
• Experience with at least one cloud provider, ideally AWS.
• Understanding of good software design; balance functional and non-functional requirements.
• Experience building distributed systems and modern apps.
• Familiar with containerised workloads and modern practices, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn and grow.
• Enjoys working in agile teams and continuous improvement.

• Design, develop, test and maintain Java components and services.
• Contribute to scalable, reliable systems following standards.
• Collaborate with engineers to build, improve and support software across the lifecycle.
• Participate in technical design discussions within larger systems.
