Job summary

Toyota Connected Europe in Wrocław is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design, develop and document large-scale distributed applications. You will build platforms enabling vehicles to communicate with the cloud, powering driving experiences worldwide.

Join an early Polish team and influence engineering culture while collaborating with international peers. You will work on scalable systems using Java, Spring Boot, Docker and Kubernetes in a modern cloud ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on programming experience in Java (17+).
• Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit5, Mockito and Testcontainers.
• Familiar with APIs, web services, CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
• Experience with microservices, ideally using Spring Boot.
• Comfort with relational databases; exposure to NoSQL databases.
• Experience with major cloud providers, ideally AWS.
• Understand software design fundamentals and scalable solutions.
• Experience building distributed systems and modern software applications.
• Familiar with Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain Java software components and services.
• Contribute to scalable, reliable systems following standards and good practices.
• Collaborate with engineers to build and support software across the development lifecycle.
• Participate in technical design discussions and design components within larger systems.
• Write clean, well-tested code and participate in peer reviews.
• Support build, integration and deployment activities to improve processes.
• Work with APIs, data structures and system components in distributed/cloud environments.
• Help monitor and improve production services and troubleshoot issues.
