Job summary

Inetum Polska seeks a backend engineer to help shape a large-scale e-commerce platform. You’ll develop product relationships and variants using Java and Spring, and contribute to microservices, AI-assisted tools and data-driven features.

The role emphasizes ownership, fast learning, and collaboration within a hybrid work setup with offices in Poznań or Rzeszów. Training and mentoring are part of the offering.

• Develop backend solutions in Java and Spring.

Job description

Join a team working at the heart of a large-scale e-commerce platform, where millions of products are processed every day to create high-quality product relationships and improve how customers discover and navigate products.

The team is responsible for product relationships, including product variants such as different colors or sizes of the same item. We build and develop tools for defining product grouping rules, create mechanisms that automatically group products, and make this information available to end users.

What you’ll be working on

• Developing and maintaining backend solutions primarily in Java and Spring
• Building mechanisms for creating and managing product relationships and variants
• Processing large volumes of product data
• Developing solutions operating in a high-traffic e-commerce environment
• Working with microservices and distributed systems
• Using AI-assisted development tools as part of your everyday work
• Contributing to solutions based on LLMs, ML models and AI agents
• Working with Big Data and cloud-based solutions
• Collaborating with the team on solving complex technical and product challenges
• Occasionally contributing to frontend development, depending on your interests and project needs

Profile

Must have

• Commercial experience with Java
