Job summary

Luxoft in Wroclaw is seeking a backend developer to design and implement distributed microservices and event-driven solutions for the Operations Platform, enabling scalable, secure, and reliable processing across enterprise systems.

Responsibilities include building microservices, APIs and workflow solutions using Java, Kafka, and Spring Boot; you will support delivery, testing, troubleshooting and production readiness, while leveraging Azure cloud services and SQL databases.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Java development experience.
• Hands-on Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Spring Boot application development experience.
• Strong SQL and relational databases knowledge.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.

Hybrid -> 3 days per week from the office, Wroclaw Green Day Office

Project Description:

Develop distributed backend services and event-driven solutions for the client Operations Platform, enabling scalable, secure, and reliable processing across enterprise systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build microservices, APIs and workflow solutions using Java, Python, Kafka, Flink and Flowable; support delivery, testing, troubleshooting and production readiness.

Mandatory Skills Description:

• Strong experience with Java development(3+ years)
• Hands-on expertise in Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures (3+ years)
• Solid experience with Spring Boot application development
• Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

• Good understanding of Python
• Knowledge of Flowable/BPM workflow development
• Experience with Flink and distributed data processing
• Experience with Elastic
• Banking or financial services experience
