Solid Company in Warszawa is seeking a highly experienced Java Engineer to lead complex enterprise solutions within an SWAT Team. You will identify risks, guide architecture discussions, and collaborate across multiple teams to remove blockers and accelerate delivery.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in Java and modern frameworks, strong English, and hands-on experience with REST and SOAP integrations, databases, CI/CD, and cloud services. Experience with frontend JS frameworks is a plus.

We are looking for a highly experienced Java Engineer.

The successful candidate will collaborate within a dedicated SWAT Team focused on proactively identifying, investigating, and resolving complex business and technical challenges across the program landscape. We are specifically looking for a highly experienced professional with a strong track record of solving complex problems in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Cooperate within SWAT Team, providing expertise in resolving critical business and technical issues.
• Proactively identify risks, dependencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders to remove blockers and accelerate delivery.
• Provide technical leadership and expert-level guidance within the assigned domain.
• Support architectural discussions, integration initiatives, and modernization efforts.
• Drive best practices across software development, DevOps, and operational excellence.
• Leverage AI-enabled approaches and tools throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Required Profile

• Demonstrable experience of Java and frameworks commonly used in Java projects
• Strong communication skills
• Be an expert (SME) in their technical domain.

Skills and attributes for success:

• 6+ years of commercial experience with web-based application creation in Java and Frontend
• Practical experience with Java 25 and Spring Boot
• Experience working with REST APIs and SOAP-based integrations with external providers
• Knowledge of databases, SQL and SQL Server
• Experience with Source Code Management, GitHub, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and automated deployment
• Azure (Experience, Cosmos DB, Application Insights, DevOps)
• Experience applying AI tools and practices within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Practical experience with Angular or React.JS (preferred both)
• Very good English (spoken and written)

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Guidewire platforms
• Knowledge of Kafka or RabbitMQ is an advantage
• Hands-on experience working with microservices architecture
• Certificates proving certain skills: Java, Spring, SQL, AWS or Azure Cloud
• Jutro Digital Platform (JDP)
