Job summary

Solid Company in Poland seeks a seasoned Full Stack Java developer to design, build and test scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Kafka and SQL. You will own microservices, RESTful APIs, CI/CD pipelines and security practices across the development lifecycle.

You'll work in an Agile team, contribute to architecture decisions, and apply OWASP and SAST practices while leveraging Docker/Kubernetes. English proficiency at least B2 is required; remote work options are not specified.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Full Stack Java development experience.
• Hands-on in developing and testing applications.
• Strong Java, Spring Boot and microservices experience.
• Designing, developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Frontend with Angular and Angular Material.
• Kafka and SQL relational databases experience.
• Docker and Kubernetes in containerized environments.
• Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines proficiency.
• Security-focused with SAST, container security scans, OWASP practices.
• Agile/Scrum environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Kafka, and SQL
• Build and enhance microservices-based architectures, ensuring clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to support communication between internal and external systems
• Implement new features and continuously improve existing Commercial Cards applications
• Ensure application security by identifying, analyzing, and remediating vulnerabilities detected through SAST, container scanning, dependency scanning, and penetration testing
• Apply secure coding practices and OWASP principles throughout the software development lifecycle
• Investigate and resolve technical issues, application defects, and production incidents
• Support and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Improve application performance, availability, resilience, and overall technical quality
• Leverage AI-powered development tools, such as GitHub Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot, to improve coding efficiency, testing, documentation, and vulnerability remediation
• Explore opportunities to introduce AI agents and intelligent automation into software development and operational processes

Job description

Kogo poszukujemy?

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Full Stack Java development, including hands-on experience in developing and testing applications
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
• Solid experience designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs
• Hands-on experience with Angular and Angular Material for frontend development
• Practical knowledge of Apache Kafka and relational databases using SQL
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in containerized application environments
• Proficiency with Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities, including findings from SAST and container security scans
• Good understanding of secure coding practices and OWASP security principles
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of deliverables, and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams
• Basic familiarity with AI-assisted development tools or willingness to explore and adopt AI-powered solutions
• Good command of English (minimum B2 level)
