Job summary

Auctane is expanding its Poland engineering hub in Wroclaw. We seek a Java backend engineer with 2+ years of experience to design, build, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java 17+ and Spring Boot.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of backend development with Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
• Strong REST API design, OOP, patterns, and software engineering principles.
• Experience with Git/GitHub and Agile methods (Scrum/Kanban).
• Hands-on automation testing with JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured, or Karate.
• API/integration testing with automated test suites.
• Proficient English and Polish.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java backend services.
• Build and optimize BPM workflows and automation solutions.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with internal/external systems.
• Deploy and manage apps on AWS; monitor health and logs.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in code reviews.
• Ensure quality with automated testing and secure coding practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues promptly.
