Job summary

Incubly is seeking a Java Developer to join a Scrum team delivering cloud-based solutions. You will work across the full SDLC, refining features, implementing them, and performing automated testing with production deployments.

Qualifications

• Proven backend Java development with Java 21+ and modern practices.
• Strong Spring Boot experience building production-grade backends.
• Design and implement REST APIs and distributed services.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and patterns.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with unit and integration testing.
• Hands-on DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience in cloud environments.
• Cloud-native development and Infrastructure as Code basics.
• Git-based workflows, code reviews and collaborative development.
• Agile / Scrum experience and strong team collaboration.
• Proficient English communication in a distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Refine features with technical designs and acceptance criteria.
• Design and develop features meeting functional and quality requirements.
• Estimate workload and contribute to sprint planning.
• Own unit and integration test suites and ensure coverage.
• Remediate security vulnerabilities in code and dependencies.
• Collaborate across the Scrum team in ceremonies and PR reviews.
• Support releases and deployments across environments.
• Troubleshoot production issues and incidents promptly.
• Contribute to architecture evolution and code quality improvements.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure as part of delivery.
