Job summary

Paessler GmbH is seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to join our IT Helpdesk, bringing deep knowledge of Windows Server administration, Azure AD/Entra ID, and M365. You will support diverse infrastructure, networks, and client environments, delivering high-quality answers and ensuring secure operations.

You will work within our international team, handling security, backup, and configuration-management tasks while driving enterprise IT initiatives and providing outstanding customer

Qualifications

• Senior experience with Windows Server and client administration is required
• Experience with service desk, including providing outstanding support in rapid timeframes
• 3+ years managing Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including identity and access management, conditional access policies, hybrid identity/Azure AD Connect, and single sign-on configurations
• 3+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and supporting different departments by implementing required solutions and enhancements for the use of M365 services
• Certifications such as MS-102, SC-300, SC-401, CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA Security+ are a strong plus

• Troubleshoot problems with systems, networks, and clients as part of IT Helpdesk
• Support automated delivery, configuration management, and software updates on all end devices and servers using M365 and Entra ID tooling
• Respond to employee requests promptly with high customer satisfaction
• Assist in problem solving with M365 ecosystem (Azure and Entra ID)
• Plan and execute Enterprise IT Projects as assigned
• Improve client management processes and tools, recommending backups and security solutions
• Support security incident protocol as needed

Job description

As an IT Systems Administrator for Paessler, you will be a seasoned IT Generalist on our team helping bring extensive experience in operating IT Infrastructures. You will work to resolve IT issues as part of our Service Desk team, delivering high quality answers and providing outstanding customer support. A deep understanding of Windows Servers, Firewalls, and Network Operations will be critical in our environment. Someone that has been working with Azure, Entra ID, networking and virtualization technologies will be of great impact to our existing team.

YOUR TASKS

• As part of the IT team, you will ensure the smooth and secure operation of the infrastructures, clients, and services used here at Paessler
• You perform a wide variety of troubleshooting problems with systems, networks, and clients as part of our IT Helpdesk
• You support automated delivery, configuration management, and software updates on all end devices and servers, leveraging M365 and Entra ID-integrated tooling where applicable
• You answer requests from our employees in a timely manner with a high degree of customer satisfaction
• You assist in problem solving, drawing on your deep familiarity with the M365 ecosystem, including Azure and Entra ID
• You plan and execute a wide variety of Enterprise IT Projects as assigned
• You plan, operate, and improve our client management processes and tools, making recommendations for backup solutions, security solutions and other solutions in the IT landscape
• You support security incident protocol as needed

YOUR PROFILE

• Senior experience with Windows Server and Client Administration is required
• Experience with service desk, including providing outstanding support in rapid timeframes
• You have in-depth expertise (3+ years) managing Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including identity and access management, conditional access policies, hybrid identity/Azure AD Connect, and single sign-on configurations
• You bring 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and support different departments by implementing the required solutions and enhancements for the successful use of M365 services
• Relevant certifications such as MS-102 (Microsoft 5 Administrator), SC-300 (Identity and Access Administrator), SC-401 (Administering Information Security in Microsoft 5), CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ are a strong plus
