Amazon Fulfillment Poland sp. z o.o. is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join the IT Operations team at our distribution center.

You will report to the IT Manager and work with local and remote teams to provide high-quality IT support and ensure infrastructure stability. • Ability to troubleshoot incidents independently and elevate appropriately
• Basic level of English
• Good written and verbal communication skills in Polish

Responsibilities

As an IT Support Engineer you will report to the IT Manager at your home site and will be responsible for working closely with the business, your colleagues and remote support teams to implement and maintain infrastructure elements. You will represent the ‘face of IT’ to the Business and you will thrive in providing world class service to our customers.

The IT Operation team supports the IT Infrastructure at each of the Amazon sites and provides IT support to our customer base.

Key job responsibilities

You will provide 1st and 2nd level support (via a ticketing system) to ensure that all IT equipment and infrastructure runs at optimal performance and that all key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) are met at your distribution center and at any remote centers that you and your team support.

Your responsibilities will include, among other things:

• Handling user requests, including 1st and 2nd level ticket support
• Installing, maintaining, and supporting IT equipment
• Collaborating with local and regional IT engineers and teams to implement projects and drive innovation within our processes
• Managing and tracking IT equipment
• Collaborating with vendors to ensure effective equipment management
• Communicating with vendors or external organizations to describe technical issues and Amazon standards
• Maximizing the availability of all IT equipment and infrastructure through continuous improvement and proactive preventive maintenance
• Providing on‑site technical support for projects and other initiatives
• Testing end‑user devices
• Providing support to other IT engineers and global IT teams as needed

A day in the life

The minimum base pay salary for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include further pay components such as performance bonuses, where applicable. Your recruiting team will share final base pay and any applicable total compensation elements depending on skills and requirements.Company discretionary, supplementary benefits apply subject to further terms, including pension plans, health insurance, life and disability insurance, business travel insurance, MultiSport card, discounts for meals at the company’s canteen, employee discount code and program (EDC/Extras), and the Employee Assistance Program (private and confidential counselling and referral service to support health and well‑being).The minimum base pay for this position is PLN 6,375 monthly.

Basic Qualifications

• 2 years of hands‑on experience in IT support, operations, or infrastructure support roles.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting (desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, network devices)
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
• Experience supporting users in a high‑availability, operational environment
• Ability to troubleshoot incidents independently and elevate appropriately

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of enterprise IT tools for ticketing, asset management, and monitoring
• Experience with network troubleshooting beyond basics (switches, Wi‑Fi, cabling, incident isolation)
• Exposure to ITIL‑based processes (incident, problem, and change management)
• Experience supporting large‑scale end‑user device environments (hundreds to thousands of devices)
• Ability to work across teams and influence without authority
• Demonstrated ownership and bias for action in incident resolution
• Hold a valid driver´s license
