Job summary

Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG in Wroclaw, Poland, seeks an IT Solutions Architect to lead the PIM and eCommerce architecture for our global B2B ecosystem.

You will guide integration strategies, define API-first designs, and collaborate with business and IT teams across borders. The role demands deep experience in SAP Commerce Cloud, PIM, and composable commerce, with a focus on security, performance, and scalable solutions in a multinational context.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in solution or IT architecture in enterprise settings.
• 5+ years in B2B e-commerce environments.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris).
• Experience designing composable/headless commerce solutions.
• Strong API management and integration architecture skills.
• Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban).

Responsibilities

• Advise on operation, maintenance, and enhancement of the B2B e-commerce ecosystem.
• Own and evolve architecture for e-commerce and PIM including SAP Commerce Cloud.
• Support move to composable commerce across frontend, CMS, APIs, backend integrations.
• Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions with Jira/Confluence.
• Support roadmap, release prep, UAT, go-live, cutover, and hypercare.
• Contribute to incident, defect, and hotfix management.
• Ensure solution quality, security, and maintainability with Security by Design.
• Support governance and quality standards across teams and providers.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Acting as a trusted IT advisor for business stakeholders and external service providers on the operation, maintenance, and enhancement of the B2B e-commerce ecosystem
• Owning and evolving the solution architecture for the e-commerce and PIM landscape, including SAP Commerce Cloud (SAP Hybris), in line with agreed architecture standards
• Supporting the move to composable commerce across the frontend, CMS, APIs, and backend integrations; guiding developers and partners on modular, headless, and API-first solutions
• Translating business needs, epics, and user stories into scalable technical solutions, working closely with business teams, IT, developers, and vendors using Jira, Confluence, and other Agile tools
• Supporting roadmap planning, release preparation, UAT, go-live, cutover, and hypercare, while coordinating timelines, risks, and deliverables during critical phases
• Contributing to incident, defect, and hotfix management in production environments
• Ensuring solution quality, performance, security, and maintainability, applying Security by Design principles across integrations and processes
• Supporting technical governance and quality standards across internal teams and external service providers

Your Qualifications

• Completed studies in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a comparable field
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience as a Solution Architect, Lead Functional/Technical Consultant, or Senior IT Solution Lead in complex enterprise environments
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on professional experience in B2B e-commerce environments
• Strong hands‑on experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (SAP Hybris) and e-commerce solutions
• Proficiency in designing or delivering composable and/or headless commerce solutions
• Professional experience with integration architecture, API management, MACH principles, and multi‑system enterprise landscapes
• Experience collaborating with business teams, technology teams, and vendors in international, distributed environments
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and risk‑management skills
• Experience working in Agile teams, such as Scrum or Kanban
• Good understanding of enterprise platforms such as PIM, ERP (SAP), CRM (Salesforce), and related end‑to‑end business processes
• Strong documentation and communication skills, including architecture diagrams, decision records (ADRs), and executive stakeholder communication
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across business, IT, and vendor teams in an international, distributed setup
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and architectural risk‑management capabilities
• Basic understanding of SAP R/3 and/or SAP S/4HANA systems is an advantage
• Experience with Azure platforms is an advantage
