Due to our dynamic development, we are looking to join our team a:
IT Solution Architect
Key Responsibilities:
- design and maintaining up-to-date IT system architectures for clients using CloudFerro’s product offerings,
- collaborating with clients, project managers, product managers, and technical team leaders to ensure project success,
- preparing comprehensive solution architectures that meet client requirements and internal company standards,
- decomposing designed systems into smaller components, agreeing on necessary changes and extensions to existing products,
- communicating, explaining, and aligning architecture and technical aspects of the scope of work with clients and internal technical teams,
- defining the technical scope and execution methods for subcontractors,
- responding to technical questions regarding architecture and making architectural decisions,
- coordinating, supervising, and accepting subcontractor work from a technical perspective,
- providing architectural support during the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance phases of client solutions,
- managing technical project documentation and coordinating the preparation of its essential elements by technical teams,
- cooperating with the project manager in developing the project schedule (technical tasks, effort estimation, dependencies),
- overseeing technical progress,
- identifying and managing technical risks,
- participating in offer preparation,
- estimating effort and costs for project budgeting purposes,
- maintaining strong knowledge of CloudFerro’s solutions and technological trends to advise and select the best solutions for clients.
Required qualifications:
- technical education (computer science, electronics, telecommunications, or similar),
- minimum 5 years of experience in the IT field as an architect, especially in infrastructure,
- experience working with clients,
- ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions,
- knowledge of cloud computing concepts,
- familiarity with design patterns or experience in designing distributed processing systems,
- experience in designing high-availability (HA) systems,
- strong soft skills such as communication, teamwork, openness to change, independence, diligence, efficiency, creativity, patience,
- experience in writing proposals,
- knowledge of IT architecture documentation standards (especially C4),
- attention to standards,
- ability to design and document scalable, secure, and efficient solutions,
- ability to specify technical tasks for external teams,
- experience collaborating with IT specialists across various domains and technologies,
- willingness to share knowledge and experience,
- understanding of product-oriented approaches,
- excellent self-organization, planning, and prioritization skills,
- focus on quality and timely task execution,
- ability to present complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders,
- very good command of English (minimum B2/C1) for communication with clients and partners, and for reading and creating system and technical documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- familiarity with OpenStack, Ceph technologies,
- experience in international project environments,
- experience in high-budget projects,
- experience working with agile teams,
- knowledge of the Earth observation sector (satellite data acquisition and processing).
