Job description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with SAP EWM background to take over an ongoing implementation project within a manufacturing environment. The design phase has been completed and the implementation is already in progress — this role replaces the current PM and focuses on execution, risk management and delivery quality.

The position requires close cooperation between central teams in Copenhagen and local production sites in China. Occasional travel to China may be required.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of one or more SAP EWM implementations within the Deployment track
• Develop and maintain detailed implementation plans based on the agreed execution model
• Oversee day‑to‑day project execution, ensuring milestones, deliverables, quality and budget are met
• Proactively identify project risks, manage dependencies and provide clear mitigation and back‑to‑green actions
• Act as the main coordination point between central IT teams and local teams in China
• Provide regular, structured status reporting to stakeholders
• Ensure the business is ready for execution, go‑live and operations
• Manage project resources and support effective cross‑team collaboration
• Ensure proper handover to operations and maintenance teams after hypercare
• Maintain complete and up‑to‑date project documentation (plans, reports, risk logs)

Key requirements

• Proven track record as an IT Project Manager, supported by documentation and references
• Solid understanding of SAP EWM and its role within the broader IT and manufacturing landscape
• Experience managing technology or manufacturing implementation projects
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup and drive execution
• Willingness and availability to travel to China when required
• Experience working in international, cross‑cultural environments
• Experience with SAP solutions beyond EWM
• Previous experience leading cross‑functional, international teams
• Exposure to large‑scale manufacturing or supply chain programs
• Fluent English
