Job summary

Bosch Warszawa is seeking a motivated IT student to join an international development team working on core internal applications. You will contribute to the full software lifecycle, from requirements to deployment, in an Agile environment.

This hybrid role offers part-time 30 hours per week, a six-month minimum contract, mentoring from experts, and flexible task scheduling to fit studies. You will gain practical knowledge within an international team and access to modern office facilities in

Qualifications

• Currently a student in IT, 2-4 years into the program.
• Availability of 30 hours per week.
• Experience with Java and Spring ecosystem.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Experience with unit testing (JUnit, Mockito).
• Basic Git/Git Flow understanding.
• Familiarity with SOLID and Clean Code principles.
• Self-motivated with initiative and teamwork.
• Good command of English.
• Ability to think end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, improve and extend the current software stack with new functionalities.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
• Collaborate with developers, process experts, architects and technical contacts.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers and ensure best practices in software development.

Job Description

You will be part of an international development team working on one of the core Internal Bosch applications, using Agile methodology.

Your tasks will include:

• Maintaining, improving and extending the current software stack with new functionalities,
• Involvement in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to design, implementation, testing and deployment.
• Collaboration with developers, process experts, architects and technical contacts of related systems.
• Participating in code reviews, mentoring junior developers and ensuring best practices in software development.

Qualifications

• Current Student of 2-4 year of IT fields
• Availability of 30 hours per week
• Experience in Java (including Springboot, Hibernate, web services, REST, APIs)
• Knowledge of Agile (Scrum, Kanban)
• Knowledge of unit testing (Junit, Jupiter, Mockito)
• Basic understanding of Git / Git Flow
• Knowledge of: SOLID and Clean Code Test Driven Development
• Self-motivated, initiative-taking, flexibility
• Ability to work in a virtual team with different experts
• Good knowledge of English
