Job summary

Hitachi Energy Services Sp. z o.o. in Kraków seeks an IT Controlling Business Partner who owns cost control for the IT domain, partnering with IT leaders to drive transparency and value. You’ll bridge IT and Finance, lead governance, and perform forward-looking analyses to support planning and investment decisions.

The role requires 5+ years in financial analysis or controlling, strong stakeholder management, and hands-on SAP/Abacus/Power BI skills. A multinational, matrixed setup is beneficial.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience in financial analysis, controlling, or financial reporting.
• Experience in a multinational with matrixed teams is preferred.
• Proven track record of people management and leadership.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of IFRS, US GAAP, and SOX.
• Hands-on proficiency with SAP, Abacus, Power BI, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Owns and drives cost controlling for IT services and costs within scope.
• Partner with IT department heads and translate financial data into business insight.
• Governance through Budget ID, PR/PO controls, and monthly reviews.
• Analyze variances, forecast, and support corrective actions.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, and vendors to improve performance.
• Promote cost discipline and continuous improvement in IT functions.
