Job summary

Dauch Corporation in Poland is seeking an IT Engineer I to provide on-site end-user support, troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues, and maintain workplace technology in line with global standards.

The role includes diagnosing incidents, deploying IT equipment, patch management, asset tracking, and collaborating with global IT teams to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience providing hands-on IT support in a corporate environment.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, mobile device support, and endpoint technologies.
• Preferred: knowledge of the Windows Server environment and Active Directory
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support for end users, ensuring timely resolution of hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Support and maintain end-user technologies including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, video conferencing systems, and Microsoft-based workplace solutions.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical incidents, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to minimize business disruption.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain IT equipment and workplace technologies in accordance with global standards, policies, and security requirements.
• Perform system maintenance activities including software updates, patch management, asset management, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with users, global IT teams, and external vendors to support daily operations and IT projects.
• Other relevant duties as assigned.
