About The Job

IT&Data Product Analyst – Payments & Banking Communication Squad

The IT&DATA department is recruiting a new IT&Data Product Analyst based in Warsaw to support the analysis, delivery, and continuous improvement of our Payments & Banking Communication Product within a global environment.

Context

Our IT&DATA organisation is transitioning from a project-delivery toward a product-centric approach, grounded in user value, product delivery and continuous improvement. As part of this journey, we are hiring a Product Analyst for our Payments & Banking Communication Squad.

This team is one of the three squads that make up our IT&DATA Treasury & Tax product, which supports related corporate finance processes globally.

The role sits at the intersection of business, product management, and technology, ensuring that treasury platforms and tools deliver high business value while maintaining reliability, compliance, and scalability.

You will analyze business needs and product performance, translate requirements into clear functional solutions, and support the Product Owner in maximizing the value of the Payments & Banking Communication product. You will contribute to the evolution of banking connectivity and payment exchange capabilities while ensuring alignment with business priorities, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

Acting as a functional bridge between business stakeholders, the Product Owner, and delivery teams, you will structure requirements, support backlog refinement, clarify expected outcomes, and help the squad deliver scalable, high-impact, and compliant solutions.

The Product Analyst will report to the IT&DATA Treasury and Tax Product Owner based in Paris, France, and will work closely with squad members and business stakeholders.

If you are eager to drive impact through technology, structured analysis, and user-centric product delivery, this is your opportunity to contribute to shaping the future of finance in Danone and bringing value to the community of internal users and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare analysis and recommendations to support roadmap and investment decisions.
2. Requirements & Backlog Analysis
  • Gather, analyze, challenge, and document business and user requirements.
  • Translate needs into epics, features, user stories, process maps, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support the Product Owner in backlog refinement and prioritization by providing value, effort, dependency, risk, and impact analysis.
  • Maintain requirements traceability and ensure delivered solutions address the agreed business outcomes.
3. Stakeholder Management
  • Facilitate requirements and solution-design workshops with Treasury, Finance, IT, banking partners, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Build a detailed understanding of user journeys, pain points, controls, data flows, and operational processes.

  • Clarify functional requirements and acceptance criteria for developers, architects, testers, and support teams.
  • Prepare and coordinate functional testing, defect analysis, business validation, and user acceptance testing.
  • Assess release readiness, support deployment and hypercare activities, and ensure appropriate documentation and knowledge transfer.
5. Payments & Banking Communication Functional Expertise
  • Analyze and support solution evolution across payment processing and payment factory capabilities, financial messaging and file exchange, bank reporting and cash visibility, payment fraud controls, and file-format compliance.
  • Document current and target processes, interfaces, business rules, data mappings, controls, and exception scenarios.
  • Evaluate proposed solutions for reliability, scalability, security, compliance, and alignment with internal controls and banking standards.
  • Act as a functional reference for Payments and Banking Communication topics and support root‑cause analysis of complex incidents and defects.
6. Product Performance & Continuous Improvement
  • Define, collect, and analyze product and service performance indicators, user feedback, incident trends, and adoption data.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and formulate evidence‑based recommendations for the Product Owner.
  • Support risk assessments, auditability, compliance reviews, and remediation follow‑up.
  • Contribute functional expertise to treasury digital transformation initiatives.
