Job Purpose

IT Business Relationship Manager – Poland

The IT BRM is the key liaison between IT and the site/function. The role partners with key business stakeholders to deliver IT services, solutions and value aligned with business strategy. The BRM also manages IT costs, budget and rolling forecasts to ensure efficient delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Single point of contact for site/function leaders on all IT topics and to communicate business stakeholders on IT KPIs & scorecards.
  • Accountable for IT budget and cost effectiveness for the area of responsibility.
  • Participate in business staff meetings to build close relationships with leadership and understand business demand & strategy.
  • Proactively develop long‑range IT strategy/roadmap to enable and support business strategy (demand shaping).
  • Advise business on maximizing IT investments (develop business case) and identify opportunities to leverage IT for tangible business value (lead POCs / projects).
  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and drive specific metrics for cost savings and value creation.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends in business & technology to drive innovation.
  • Assure implementation of global IT standards, policies and strategies with IT leadership guidance.
  • Work with the IT Service Delivery Manager to ensure effective IT operations per SLAs.
  • Accountable for project delivery of operational improvements and related solutions through partnership with infrastructure, security, applications, data analytics and external vendors.
  • Collaborate with other BRMs to share best practices and develop a regional IT strategy aligned with priorities.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical degree; advanced degree is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; experience in multinational/multicultural environments.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing business processes, ideally automotive.
  • Subject‑matter expertise in both business areas and IT technologies (applications, analytics, etc.).
  • Strong customer‑management skills and ability to translate and define complex business requirements proactively.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and work harmoniously as part of a team.
  • Ability to work across all levels, from mid‑to senior management to general staff.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects, work under tight deadlines, and handle changing priorities.
