Job summary

ABB in Kraków is seeking an IT Infrastructure Specialist to support Managed File Transfer (MFT) and IIS services. You will apply cloud and on-premises expertise to maintain, optimize and document critical infrastructure, ensuring service levels are met and incidents resolved promptly.

You will collaborate with architects, security teams and vendors, bring knowledge of Azure/GCP/AWS to ongoing MFT and IIS improvements, and contribute to design reviews and low-level design validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, including cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of MFT and Microsoft IIS.
• Foundational cloud certifications (Azure/GCP) are a plus, ITIL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the installation, management, maintenance, and optimization of Managed File Transfer (MFT)
• Identifying, analyzing and reporting any inefficiencies or improvement opportunities in Microsoft IIS and MFT service
• Overseeing preparation and maintenance of operational documentation for the MFT and IIS services
• Assuring the MFT and IIS services are being delivered according to agreed Service Levels and quality
• Monitoring and troubleshooting MFT for any transfer failures and reviewing system logs
• Collaborating with Hosting suppliers and vendors regarding MFT and IIS service operations and related incidents resolution
• Working with Architects, Information Security Teams, Connectivity and other groups on updating the design of MFT solutions
• Reviewing and validating MFT related Low-Level Design (LLD)
• Keeping up to date knowledge regarding / emerging technology and industry practices, bringing learning into ABB

Your Role And Responsibilities

Qualifications For The Role

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or relevant field
• Minimum 5 years experience working on IT infrastructure running in Cloud (Azure, GCP or AWS)
• Deep understanding of various Operating Systems, focusing on MFT and Microsoft IIS
• Azure or GCP Foundational level certification will be good to have
• ITIL Certification will be preferred
