ABB’s Information Systems (IS) levert en ondersteunt de volledige lifecycle van bedrijfsapplicaties. Als Application Operation Specialist draag je bij aan onboarding, onderhoud en continue verbetering

Qualifications

• Masteropleiding in Computer Science of een gerelateerd vakgebied.
• Ervaring met het beheer van applicaties en leveren van effectieve ondersteuning en onderhoud.
• Kennis van cloudinfrastructuur en aanverwante technologieën.
• Verantwoordelijkheid voor end-to-end levering, zelfstandigheid, discipline, onder tijdsdruk kunnen werken.
• Basiskennis van Azure & SharePoint beheer.
• Vloeiende beheersing van Engels (schrift en gesproken).
• Ervaring met Agile/Waterfall-methodologie.
• Kennis van Azure DevOps & Portal is een plus.
• Ervaring in projectmanagement is een plus.

Responsibilities

• Definiëren, beheren en monitoren van processen voor IS-diensten door te plannen, te meten en te verbeteren.
• Beheren van de applicatielifecycle, onboarding, ontwikkelingcoördinatie en Build-to-Run overdracht.
• Definiëren en handhaven van applicatie-ondersteuningsprocessen, inclusief ServiceNow onboarding en Incident-, Access- en Change-management.
• Coördineren van externe leveranciersdiensten, inclusief RFP's, contracten, ticketbeheer en prioritering.
• Verantwoordelijk voor incidenten of wijzigingen met grote impact op IS-applicaties.
• Toezicht houden op app-gerelateerde budgetten, kosten, PO's en softwarelicentiebeheer.
• Ondersteunen van de business en samenwerken met stakeholders om applicatiekwaliteit, beveiliging en continue verbetering te waarborgen.
• Consultancy en advies bieden, en bijstand verlenen bij implementatie van nieuwe IT-diensten of wijzigingen.
• Sterke relaties opbouwen met business vertegenwoordigers en supportteams.

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the organization’s vision and strategic direction. Each day, you will define, manage, and monitor processes to meet requirements for Information Systems (IS) services by planning, measuring, and improving all aspects of IS services. You will also showcase your expertise by being a key resource, a definitive source of knowledge processes, to contribute to enhancing organizational effectiveness.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Manage the application lifecycle, including onboarding, development coordination, and Build-to-Run handover.

• Define and maintain application support processes, including ServiceNow onboarding and Incident, Access, and Change Management.

• Coordinate third-party services, including RFPs, contracts, ticket management, and task prioritization.

• Be accountable for the resolution for any incident or change which has or might have a major impact on the relevant IS application

• Oversee application-related budgets, costs, purchase orders, and software license management.

• Provide business support and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure application quality, security, and continuous improvement.

• Providing consultation and advice, as well as supporting the implementation of new IT services or changes to existing ones

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with business representatives and support teams

Your background:

• Master degree in Computer Science or related field

• Experience in managing applications and delivering effective support & maintenance services.

• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and related technologies.

• Responsibility for end-to-end delivery, independence, discipline, ability to work under time pressure

• Basic Knowledge of Azure & SharePoint administration

• Fluency in English is essential (written and spoken)

• Experience in Agile/Waterfall methodology

• Knowledge of Azure DevOps & Portal is a plus

• Experience in project management is a plus
