ABB zoekt een IS Security & Compliance professional om wereldwijd informatiebeveiliging, naleving en risicobeheer te versterken. Je identificeert risico's, geeft aanbevelingen en werkt samen met stakeholders aan veilige adoptie van technologieën binnen ABB.

Je rapporteert aan de IS Department Manager for Compliance and Risk Advisory en werkt in een hybride model. Je beschikt over relevante certificeringen, Engels en een IT-gerelateerde opleiding.

Qualifications

• 0–4 jaar ervaring in information security, cybersecurity, risk management of compliance-gerelateerde functies.
• Gevorderde kennis van security operations, cloud oplossingen, GRC, architectuur, procesverbetering en Agile.
• Bachelor-informatica of cybersecurity of verwant vakgebied.
• Certificeringen zoals ISO 27001 Lead Implementer vereist; CompTIA+, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer en ITIL 4/5 zijn een plus.

Responsibilities

• Uitvoeren van informatiebeveiliging-, risicogebaseerde en compliance-assessments.
• Identificeren van beveiligings- en compliance-risico’s en aanbevelingen doen ter mitigatie.
• Samenwerken met wereldwijde stakeholders voor governance en naleving.
• Bewaken van beveiligings- en compliance-landschap en ondersteunen van risicobeheer.
• Bijdragen aan standaardisatie, procesoptimalisatie en beste praktijken.
• Gebruik maken van data-analyse en cloud-technologieën ter versterking van beveiliging.

IS Department Manager for Compliance and Risk Advisory

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support ABB in strengthening information security, regulatory compliance, and risk management across a global organization. Each day, you will contribute to ensuring secure adoption of technologies, protecting critical business information, and supporting compliance with internal policies and external regulations. You will also showcase your expertise by collaborating with global stakeholders to identify risks, improve security practices, and drive continuous improvement across the IS landscape.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Information Systems (IS) Security function globally. Main stakeholders are Information Security teams, IS Compliance teams, IS Business users, IS Business Process Owners, IS Solution Architects, and Core and Business Area IS organizations.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Performing information security, risk, and regulatory compliance assessments to support secure technology adoption and ensure alignment with ABB policies, standards, and applicable regulations.
• Identifying security and compliance risks, providing recommendations to mitigate vulnerabilities, and supporting the implementation of security controls across business and technology initiatives.
• Collaborating with global business and IS stakeholders to provide security and compliance advisory, ensuring effective governance and consistent application of security and regulatory requirements.
• Monitoring the security and compliance landscape, supporting risk management activities, and contributing to regulatory adherence across ABB's global operations.
• Supporting the continuous improvement of security, compliance, and governance processes by promoting standardization, process optimization, and best practices.
• Utilizing data analytics, cloud technologies, and modern security methodologies to strengthen security operations and improve service effectiveness.

Qualifications for the role

• You are highly skilled in information security, regulatory compliance, governance, risk management, and privacy, and enjoy working in a global Information Systems environment.
• You have 0–4 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, risk management, or compliance-related roles, supporting security and regulatory initiatives.
• Possess an enhanced knowledge of security operations, cloud solutions, governance, risk and compliance (GRC), technology architecture, process improvement, and agile methodologies.
• You are passionate about cybersecurity, continuous improvement, and collaborating with global stakeholders to strengthen security, compliance, and risk management practices.
• Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as ISO 27001 Lead Implementer are required. Certifications including CompTIA+, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, and ITIL 4/5 are considered an advantage.
• You demonstrate strong stakeholder management, negotiation, business communication, and cross-cultural collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective relationships in a global environment.
• You are at ease communicating in English, both written and spoken, within an international business environment.
