Job summary

Silvair is seeking an experienced software engineer to join the Platform Engineering Team in Kraków, focusing on cloud infrastructure, services, and applications that manage mesh networks for smart lighting.

You will develop and maintain robust IoT solutions, collaborate with top specialists, and help scale the Silvair Platform alongside cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable cloud-based lighting control.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Python development experience.
• Experience with asynchronous programming in Python.
• Strong REST API and event-driven architecture knowledge.
• Production experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis.
• Hands-on with Docker and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
• Familiar with monitoring tools like Datadog.
• Clear, well-documented code and low technical debt.
• Excellent collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new features across business logic, API, and persistence.
• Contribute to architecture decisions on service decomposition and cloud infra.
• Perform code reviews to ensure quality and knowledge sharing.
• Write and maintain automated tests across the testing pyramid.
• Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into solutions.
