Summary of our opportunity

The investor onboarding team will be responsible for the management of the investor AML/KYC processes in conjunction with our third-party administrators. The position will involve daily interaction with administrators, marketing, and client relations teams (CSG), compliance, and investors.

The position will require good communication and problem-solving skills and the person will be responsible for ensuring appropriate vendor management practices are in place. The team will be expected to build strong relationships with other departments to ensure a positive client experience.

The role will need to effectively manage outsourced partners and technology to provide efficient and scalable operational processes. Ownership of the investor relationship will continue to be led by CSG, this team must ensure that the CSG teams are fully informed of discussions with their investors. Any challenges with an investor onboarding should be escalated within CSG on a timely basis to enable them to help find a resolution.

Primary responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to)
  • Engage with investors, CSG and other parties to ensure an effectively managed onboarding process and a smooth and efficient client experience
  • Take responsibility for AML/KYC services from third-party administrators to our Funds, setting and monitoring service levels and KPIs and participating in quarterly service review meetings
  • Ensure an effective process for periodic refreshes of the AML/KYC information and facilitate the engagement with investors
  • Act as a mediator between third parties and investors to negotiate a mutually acceptable resolution to issues that arise
  • Ensure that issues are escalated in a timely manner and are captured within the Operations governance framework
  • Work closely with CSG , Administrators and Compliance to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies
  • Work closely with senior business leads and provide regular updates where needed.
Key Requirements/Qualifications
  • Background of working within the financial services industry. It may be that this is a position that you have undertaken in a stand-alone capacity , or it has formed part of a broader role
  • Track record in the management of operational processes. Delivery focused.
  • Deep KYC/AML knowledge, attention to detail and ability to understand and deal with complex cases.
  • Experience working with third-party administrators and awareness of regulatory compliance in financial services and Luxembourg
  • Computer literate with very good Excel and Power Point skills
  • Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal and the ability to develop meaningful partnerships with internal and external parties
  • Fast learner, highly motivated with a can-do attitude and ability to work independently taking ownership of allocated tasks
  • Language skills are an advantage
