The opportunity As a SharePoint & Power Apps Intern, you will support the design, development, and improvement of modern workplace solutions based on Microsoft 365. Over a one-year internship, you will learn and help build and maintain SharePoint sites and Power Apps that streamline business processes, improve collaboration, and enhance user experience. You will work closely with SharePoint and Power Apps expert, product owners, business stakeholders, and IT teams, gaining hands‑on experience across the solution lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and user support.
How you'll make an impact
- Support the creation and maintenance of SharePoint Online sites, pages, lists, libraries, and permissions structures
- Configure and enhance Power Apps (canvas apps and basic model‑driven exposure where applicable) to digitize forms and simple business applications
- Build and maintain integrations with SharePoint lists/libraries and other Microsoft 365 services used by the team (e.g., Teams, OneDrive)
- Assist with requirements gathering: document user needs, propose solution options, and validate acceptance criteria with stakeholders
- Help establish and follow good practices for information architecture (site structure, navigation, metadata, content types) and content governance
- Support testing activities (functional testing, user acceptance testing) and prepare short user guides/how‑to documentation
- Troubleshoot basic issues, coordinate with senior team members for escalations, and contribute to continuous improvement of existing solutions
- Participate in team ceremonies and planning (e.g., stand‑ups, sprint planning/reviews) and keep work items up to date
Your background
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field
- Basic understanding of SharePoint Online concepts (sites, pages, lists/libraries, permissions, metadata)
- Hands‑on exposure to Microsoft Power Apps; able to build simple apps connected to SharePoint lists or Excel
- Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, OneDrive, Outlook) and modern collaboration practices
- Ability to learn quickly, take ownership of small deliverables, and work in a structured way (documentation, tracking tasks, communication)
- Fluent in English, good communication skills in a professional environment; comfortable collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
