Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Kraków offers an internship with the Quality Management Team to support product quality improvement projects and cost optimization. The role targets III/IV year students in mechanical or electrical engineering, with CAD skills and basic risk management exposure.

You'll gain hands-on experience in reliability analysis, FMEA/RCA learning, and daily team tasks while enjoying a flexible schedule and a friendly work environment.

Qualifications

• III or IV year student in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of working principles of electric power system devices such as switchgears, circuit-breakers, transformers.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, proactive attitude.
• Basic knowledge of CAD programs (e.g., PTC Creo, Catia, SolidWorks), ability to read technical drawings and technical documentation.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Knowledge of English and Polish — at least B2 level.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the quality assurance analyses of control/measurement electronic circuits in electrical power equipment.
• Analysis of product in respect of reliability and potential risks.
• Gathering knowledge from the field of electrical and mechanical engineering.
• Learning about risk management tools such as FMEA, RCA.

The goal of the Quality Team is to focus the attention of R&D engineers on quality aspects during the product development design phase and secure reliable future products and processes.
