Job summary

Revolut is seeking Information Security Engineering Interns for its Technology team in Kraków. You’ll support monitoring, detection, and response efforts to keep systems and data safe, collaborating with experienced security engineers and gaining hands-on experience in security operations.

The internship runs 8–10 paid weeks, with potential progression to the Graduate Programme. Open to international applicants ready to relocate to Revolut tech hubs.

Qualifications

  • Penultimate year of a bachelor’s or master’s in CS/InfoSec/Cyber Security (graduating in 2028).
  • On track for a 2:1 or higher (or equivalent).
  • Experience or interest in Python and data analysis.
  • Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving ability.
  • Fluent in English with good communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, diverse team.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and enhancing security monitoring capabilities.
  • Monitor and analyze security alerts to identify threats.
  • Respond to security incidents and collaborate with engineers to fix issues.
  • Automate and improve security monitoring and response processes.
  • Support threat hunting and design data-driven risk detection solutions.
  • Learn and apply cutting-edge tools and technologies for security analysis.
  • Share updates with global teams and receive feedback for growth.

The Internship Programme is open to international applicants ready to relocate to one of our tech hubs in Poland, Portugal, the UAE, or the UK. We’ll support you with visa assistance, travel costs, and accommodation (conditions apply). You’ll be expected to spend around 3 days per week in the office (where role and location allow).


Key dates


  • Applications: open from June 2026

What you’ll be doing


  • Developing new capabilities for our security monitoring and response platform

  • Monitoring and analysing security alerts to identify potential threats

  • Responding to security incidents and collaborating with engineering teams to fix vulnerabilities

  • Automating and improving security monitoring, analysis, and response processes

  • Supporting threat hunting initiatives and designing data-driven solutions for risk detection

  • Learning and applying cutting-edge tools and technologies for security analysis and remediation

  • Sharing updates with global teams and learning from senior engineers

  • Receiving regular feedback to support your development


What you’ll need


  • To be in your penultimate year of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information security, cyber security, or a related field (graduating in 2028)

  • On track for a 2:1 or higher (or equivalent grade)

  • Experience or an interest in software engineering (Python) and data analysis

  • A proactive mindset and passion for problem-solving

  • Fluency in English

  • Great communication and organisational skills

  • To be comfortable working in a fast-paced, diverse team environment

  • Full-time availability for Summer 2027

  • The ability to travel to a Revolut office in your country of employment

  • A willingness to attend the office at least 3 days per week (this is a hybrid role)


Nice to have


  • Experience with threat hunting, penetration testing, or Capture the Flag challenges


Compensation range


  • Krakow: PLN9,100 - PLN9,100 gross monthly*

  • Poland: PLN9,100 - PLN9,100 gross monthly*

  • Other locations: Compensation will be discussed during the interview process


*Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and previous experience
