Job summary

Danone is offering a 12-month IT & Data Trainee internship in Warsaw, Poland, within an international agile team. You will gain extensive experience by handling contract lifecycle activities, governance, data quality, and reporting using SAP, ServiceNow, Power BI and Excel.

You should be a final-year student or recent graduate in Finance/IS, with strong English and a knack for data and problem solving. Hybrid work arrangement applies, with office days in Warsaw.

Qualifications

• Final-year student or bachelor’s/master’s degree graduate in Finance, Information Systems, or another analytical discipline.
• Basic understanding of IT, business processes or financial concepts.
• Comfort working with data and paying attention to details.
• Good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Manage contract lifecycle activities, Purchase Orders, Goods Receipts and invoice-related processes with internal controls.
• Support external workforce governance including timesheet tracking and data quality controls.
• Help maintain data for financial forecasting, resource planning and portfolio reporting.
• Work with SAP, ServiceNow, Power BI and Excel to support operational and financial processes.
• Be a business partner for stakeholders and maintain clear communication.
• Participate in automation and continuous improvement initiatives to simplify Governance processes.
• Learn and participate in IT Performance and Governance processes improvement (budget, demand, project).
• Gain hands-on experience in IT Financial Management, Supplier Management, and Portfolio Governance.

What you can expect:

• Managing contract lifecycle activities, Purchase Orders, Goods Receipts and invoice-related processes while ensuring compliance with internal policies and financial controls.

About You

It’s a perfect match, if:

• You are final‑year student or bachelor’s/master’s degree graduate (Finance, Information Systems or another analytical discipline)
• You have a basic understanding of IT, business processes or financial concepts
• You are comfortable working with data and paying attention to details
• You can work accurately and meet deadlines
• You have good knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, especially Excel
• You enjoy connecting dots and finding simple solutions to complex problems
• You are not afraid to ask questions and look for answers
• You have a good command of English
• Advantageous: you have experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) or Power BI
