Job description

Skywise is a leading digital services company, wholly owned by Airbus. We deliver a first-of-its-kind offer that seamlessly integrates Planning & Operations Control, Flight, Technical, and Ground Operations. By providing interoperable digital solutions for end-to-end operations, Skywise combines aircraft manufacturer expertise and digital know-how to transform operational complexity into predictable and profitable performance, ensuring resilient and more sustainable operations.

As a System Integration Intern, you’ll join our engineering team to connect diverse software systems, network architectures, and cloud services into cohesive solution platforms. You will contribute directly to enterprise and aviation platforms that process critical flight and operational data, gaining hands‑on industry experience in API management, cross‑system data flows, and end‑to‑end platform validation across Airbus operations. The primary objective of this internship is to build practical expertise in digital technologies, management, business processes, and operations through hands‑on participation in Software Factory projects, while applying Airbus Group standards.

Within the Software Factory department, candidates will develop expertise in system architecture, API testing, automated test suites, log analysis, and end‑to‑end integration lifecycles.

Responsibilities

Configure, test, and troubleshoot integration points and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). Execute end‑to‑end integration tests to monitor system interoperability, message delivery, and interface performance. Convert manual integration tests into automated test suites and perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases. Analyze system logs and network traffic to diagnose communication bottlenecks and integration failures. Document defects, track issue lifecycles, and collaborate with developers to verify fixes. Maintain technical documentation and data mapping specifications for cross‑system communications.
