Job summary

Jit is seeking an Intern/Junior Analyst for the KYC/AML Department in Poland. The role is hybrid with 2–3 days in the office in major cities (Gdynia/Gdańsk/Warszawa/Łódź). Start on 1st November for a 5-month term with possible extension.

No prior experience required; you will learn on the job and work full 8-hour days. English and Swedish at C1 are required, with a university degree being a strong advantage.

Qualifications

• English and Swedish at C1 level.
• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law, Administration, Compliance or related field is a big advantage.
• Interest in AML/KYC topics or initial experience.
• Prior office or corporate experience is a plus.
• Analytical thinking.

• Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to search for and analyze information in internal systems.

• Searching and aggregating data from internal systems.
• Assessing materials and deciding to close or elevate.
• Describing and concluding on materials.
• Using SOPs and Work Instructions to populate Excel sheets, SharePoint and other tools.

Salary: 260 - 400 PLN/day on B2B or gross on contract of mandate

Project

The KYC (Know Your Customer) initiative is a major project in the financial sector, focusing on verifying the identity of clients to prevent fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, and other illicit activities. It involves collecting and analyzing identifying information—such as legal names, addresses, dates of birth, and government-issued identification—before allowing individuals or entities to open accounts or engage in financial transactions.

Expected competences and knowledge

• English and Swedish at C1 level
• A relevant university degree (e.g. in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law, Administration, Compliance or a related field) is a huge advantage
• Interest in AML/KYC topics or initial experience in this area
• Prior experience in office work or in a corporate environment is a plus
• Analytical thinking
• Excellent communication skills on different business levels with ability to build partnership business relations
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
