Position Summary
As an Intern in the Global IS Sourcing Team, you will support the savings governance and reporting process. The role focuses on reviewing, validating, and reporting savings delivered by the team, as well as providing analytical support through data review and spend analysis. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong Excel skills and an analytical mindset.
Reporting Structure
Reports to: Category Specialist/Special Projects
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing savings delivered by the IS Sourcing Team, including data validation, analysis, and identification of discrepancies
- Investigating, clearing, and resolving data inconsistencies in cooperation with relevant stakeholders
- Accurately reporting validated savings into designated systems and tools
- Supporting the end-to-end savings reporting process, ensuring timeliness and data accuracy
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and smooth savings reporting
- Providing analytical support to the IS Sourcing Team, including supplier spend analysis, cost comparisons, and preparation of insights to support decision-making
Qualifications & Skills
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Sourcing, Supply Chain, or related fields
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
- Ability to work with large data sets and draw meaningful conclusions
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
- Power BI knowledge is considered an asset
