Job summary

ABB seeks an IS Business Analyst for Applications and Process Integration as part of the Mergers & Acquisitions initiative within ABB Electrification Distribution Solutions and ABB Electrification Service. You will consolidate and harmonize acquired companies' processes, applications and data into ABB's operating model.

The role operates in a hybrid work model and involves international project teams, technology assessment, and integration planning to drive synergies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as Business Analyst, System Analyst, or similar in IT.
• Experience with process mapping and driving process optimization.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Change management experience and proactive mindset.
• Fluent spoken and written English; international projects are common.

Responsibilities

• Support consolidation and harmonization of acquired companies' processes, apps, and data into ABB's operating model.
• Work in cross-functional project teams in an international environment, focusing on tech assessment and planning for integrations.
• Lead evaluation of integration scenarios, ensuring compatibility with ABB platforms and identifying overlaps.
• Provide transition support, data quality assessment, and help migrating to new processes and systems.

Your Role And Responsibilities

As IS Business Analyst for Applications and Process Integration for Mergers & Acquisitions in ABB Electrification Distribution Solution (ELDS) and Service (ELSE) you will support the consolidation and harmonization of acquired companies' business processes, applications and data into ABB's operating model. You will be working as part of the cross-functional project teams operating in an international environment and focusing on technology assessment, synergy identification and integration feasibility and planning for Business applications.

The work model for the role is: hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Process Mapping & Harmonization - documenting existing processes of acquired companies, aligning with ABB standards and defining future state, including redesign and optimization for efficiency
• Application & Landscape Assessment - analyzing application landscape, mapping applications to business functions and capabilities, assessing application maturity
• Integration scenarios - based on gathered information, taking the lead to evaluate relevant scenarios for applications - checking compatibility with ABB platforms, identifying redundancies and overlaps
• Transition support - evaluating data quality, taking the lead of the transition to new processes and applications, aiding with decommissioning/migration

Qualifications For The Role

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as Business Analyst, System Analyst, Application Management or similar in IT environment
• Experience with process mapping, including driving process optimization activities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Change management skills and experience
• Proactive mindset and strong self-organization skills
• Ability to effectively coordinate activities across various teams to deliver results
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Previous experience with SAP S4HANA, Mergers & Acquisitions or migration projects would be an advantage
