Job summary

Hapag-Lloyd AG in Poland’s Knowledge Center, Gdańsk, seeks a Coordinator in the Dangerous Goods Department. You will process DG bookings, ensure compliance, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to keep transport safe and efficient.

The role offers a fixed term contract until 31 December 2027, hybrid work, relocation support, and a comprehensive benefits package including private medical care and a gym card. English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training as shipping agent or practical experience in dangerous goods transport.
• Basic knowledge of IMDG codes and other dangerous goods regulations preferred.
• Responsible, detail-oriented and well-organised with accuracy under time pressure.
• Team spirit and commitment; motivated and quick learner.
• Good English skills; open to shifts (6-14,14-22).
• Good IT skills, especially MS Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Process transport requests for dangerous goods per standards.
• Approve DG transports for intermodal shipments.
• Correspond with internal and external stakeholders.
• Register DG bookings for partner lines.
• Verify compliance with DG transport regulations.
• Handle loading, transit and purge clearance.
• Prepare congestion/separation notes.
• Collaborate with Regional DG Managers.
