Job summary

Danone in Warsaw seeks a junior Intercompany/Fixed Assets Accountant to support month-end close, asset management, and intercompany reconciliations. You will work with SAP and MS Excel in a multinational finance team.

The role requires 1–2 years in related accounting, a Finance/Accounting degree (or current studies), strong English, and attention to detail. Hybrid work with office days in Warsaw is offered, along with development opportunities.

Qualifications

1–2 years of experience in Intercompany, Fixed Assets, or General Ledger accounting.
Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
Strong Excel skills and good knowledge of MS Office.
Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Perform month-end closing activities related to fixed assets and intercompany accounting.
Create, maintain, and dispose of fixed assets in the accounting system.
Calculate and monitor depreciation and assets under construction.
Reconcile intercompany transactions and balances, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
Monitor aging of intercompany balances and support netting processes.
Prepare financial analyses, reconciliations, and management reports.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and other Danone entities to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within accounting processes.
