Independent Insurance Services Agency is seeking a Licensed Insurance Service Associate to join our team. This part-time role can be performed remotely from anywhere and offers opportunities for advancement.

You will be the main contact for existing clients, helping them maintain proper coverage, handle policy changes, renewals, and billing questions while delivering excellent service by phone, email, and in person.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License is required.
• Experience servicing commercial lines is required (3+ years).
• Previous insurance agency experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Marketing accounts
• Assist clients with policy changes, renewals, billing questions, claims support, and coverage inquiries.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by phone, email, and in person.
• Conduct proactive policy reviews to ensure customers have the appropriate protection.
• Educate clients on available coverage options, discounts, and policy enhancements.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and account rounding while maintaining a service-first approach.
• Build strong, long-term relationships that promote customer retention and loyalty.
• Process policy updates accurately and maintain organized client records.
• Collaborate with agency team members to provide an exceptional customer experience.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License.
• Previous insurance agency experience required (the more experience, the better!)
• Experience servicing commercial lines insurance policies (3+ years).
• Strong understanding of insurance products, coverages, and policy servicing.
