Job summary

HUB International is seeking Insurance Advisors across the Lower Mainland to provide ICBC and private auto coverage, assist front-line customers, and manage dealership accounts. The role emphasizes a customer-service mindset, strong relationship-building, and an entrepreneurial sales approach.

Candidates should have a Level 1 General Insurance License, 6+ months of insurance experience, and a valid driver's license with own vehicle for travel. Mandarin/Cantonese skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Level 1 General Insurance License.
• 6+ months of insurance experience; ideally as a Road Advisor.
• Strong communication written and verbal; ability to build relationships with clients.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a high sales drive and initiative.
• A valid driver’s license and own vehicle to travel to dealership locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide ICBC and private auto coverage in the office and dealerships.
• Assist in the office by helping customers at the counter and answering phones.
• Handle customer complaints with professionalism and understanding.
• Set and adhere to production budgets, including ICBC Autoplan and Private Auto Sales production.
• Ensure compliance with insurers, Insurance Council of BC and Privacy Act rules and regulations.
• Maintain ICBC inventory and correct handling of all documentation and funds.
• Pursue ongoing professional development to enhance skills and abilities.
• Live up to HUB values, mission and vision.
