Job summary

A public school district in Poland is seeking an Instructional Paraprofessional (Special Education) who will assist teachers and support students' learning needs. Position Details

• .813 FTE; 6.5 hours a day; Monday - Friday; 9-Months a year
• $16.26/hour for 90 workday probationary period, then $18.07/hour

Responsibilities

• Performs instructional activities as planned, assigned and organized by professional staff for individual and/or small groups of students
• Works with the teacher with students who need to learn positive behaviors in order to be successful in the classroom setting
• Helps in the selection, preparation and organization of materials appropriate to students' needs in accordance with designated lessons
• Collects data and reports student progress to the teacher

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience working with children
• Requires a High School graduate or equivalent
