Job summary

Sopra Steria Polska in Katowice is seeking an Infrastructure Administrator to join a French public sector client, focusing on VTOM/Linux/Windows environments with fixed working hours 9:00–17:00.

We offer production/integration environment work, N2/N3 responsibilities, and cross-team coordination. Polish location with occasional office visits to Katowice are required.

Qualifications

• Very good command of French (min. B1/B2).
• Proven experience in N2-level application support or administration.
• Experience coordinating technical activities across multiple teams.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in production and/or integration environments.
• Knowledge of VTOM, Linux and Windows.

Responsibilities

• Act as Integrator N3 for business applications, ensuring smooth integration, stability, and coordination between technical and operational teams.
• Provide N2-level application support, including incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Coordinate and drive resolution of complex incidents, changes, and integration activities across multiple teams.
• Monitor and improve application performance, availability, and reliability in production and integration environments.
• Support and administer Linux, Windows, and VTOM environments to ensure seamless application operations.

Infrastructure Administrator (VTOM/Linux/Windows) with French

The Polish branch, as the Global Delivery Center, operates in Katowice since 2007 and has been growing ever since. Currently, our team consists of around 1,000 specialists.

Within the Digital Platform Services department, our teams specialize in areas such as cloud, operating systems, virtualization, databases, backup or storage, as well as networking and security. We also have 1st line support consultants who speak French and English, but also Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and German.

The Application Services department is responsible for areas such as software development, data engineering, testing services, CRM, ITSM and ERP platform integrations, as well as application management for customers in Scandinavia, Benelux, France, Germany, Switzerland and the UK.

We are looking for Infrastructure Engineer to join Sopra Steria Polska for a team that works on for a client from French public sector.

Working hours: 9:00–17:00.

Please note that we can only offer cooperation to candidates located in Poland who are available for occasional visits to our office in Katowice.

• Act as an Integrator N3 for business applications, ensuring smooth integration, stability, and coordination between technical and operational teams.

Must have requirements:

• Very good command of French (min. B1/B2), enabling effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Proven experience in N2-level application support or application administration.
• Experience in coordinating technical activities across multiple teams and working with various stakeholders.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including incident management and root cause analysis.
• Experience working in production and/or integration environments.
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of VTOM.
