Job summary

A leading financial institution in Katowice is seeking an Engineer III to maintain infrastructure platforms including UCMDB and BigFix. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in DevOps, strong skills in Linux and Windows Server administration, and knowledge of automation tools. This role involves ensuring system stability and performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support integrations.

Qualifications

We are looking for you, if you:

• have an experience in Configuration Data Discovery, data reconciliation and interfacing the discovered CI data (e.g. with applications like UCMDB, BigFix, TADDM or Flexera),
• have a proven experience in DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering roles (+2 years),
• have solid understanding of Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server administration,
• have an experience with MSSQL databases,
• are familiar with automation tools (e.g., Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines.

Your responsibilities:

• maintain infrastructure platforms including MidServers, SnowMirror, Kafka Rest Proxy, TADDM, UCMDB, and BigFix to ensure stability, performance, and scalability,
• proactively monitor system health, troubleshoot integration and performance issues, and support incident resolution across all managed tools,
• develop scripts and workflows to automate routine maintenance tasks and for the purpose of system integration,
• handle TSCM updates, track and remediate vulnerability findings, manage certificates, and ensure overall system hygiene to meet security and compliance standards,
• collaborate with other teams to support integrations.

• Discovery Applications: We manage and support tools like UCMDB, TADDM, and BigFix, which are critical for asset discovery, configuration management, and endpoint compliance.
• Integration Infrastructure: We maintain MID Servers and SnowMirror, enabling seamless data synchronization and integration between systems like ServiceNow and external databases.
