Industrialization Engineer - Electronics & SSL
About the Role
We are looking for an Industrialization Engineer to join our team and support the introduction of new electronic and Solid State Lighting (SSL) products. This role focuses on production equipment development and implementation, ensuring smooth industrialization and compliance with project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead industrialization and introduction of new products in electronics and SSL, with emphasis on production equipment and process development.
- Collaborate with the product launch team to ensure timely market introduction.
- Work closely with R&D to secure manufacturability in early phases using tools such as DfX, DFMA, PFMEA.
- Support development of production and testing concepts aligned with defined standards and processes.
- Assist in identifying and developing key technologies and suppliers for equipment sourcing.
- Drive implementation and continuous improvement of visual inspection technologies (camera, scanner, laser systems for macro assembly, SPI, AOI, X-ray).
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor, in line with job scope.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire protection, internal regulations, and legal requirements.
- Implement and maintain procedures under the Integrated Management System for HSE and Energy, ensuring compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001.
- Report on HSE and Energy management system performance within your area of responsibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Physics, Electrical, Production, Mechanical, or related field).
- Several years of experience in coordinating technical and production projects.
Skills
Hard Skills
- Basic knowledge of electronics and advanced expertise in visual inspection technologies (camera, scanner, laser systems, SPI, AOI, X-ray).
- Strong understanding of statistical test evaluation (MSA according to VDA).
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and SAP.
